Our Story

Kishu Play was created with one simple goal: to give every toddler access to high-quality, engaging educational content without any cost, subscription, or barrier. We are a small team of parents and early childhood learning enthusiasts based in Mumbai, India, who believe that the earliest years of a child's life are the most important for building the foundations of lifelong learning.

We built Kishu Play from the ground up, drawing on current research in child development, phonics, early numeracy, and sensory learning. Every game has been designed with a 2-to-5-year-old's attention span, developmental stage, and sense of fun firmly in mind. We also strongly believe that screens work best as a bridge — not a babysitter — which is why we encourage all parents and caregivers to play alongside their children.

👨‍👩‍👧 A message to parents: Kishu Play is designed to be used with your child, not instead of you. The most powerful learning happens when a trusted adult sits beside a child, repeats words, asks questions, and connects what's on screen to the real world. We recommend sessions of 10–15 minutes, followed by offline activities that reinforce what was learned.

Our Approach to Learning

We follow a "play-first" philosophy. Research in early childhood education consistently shows that children learn best when they are having fun, feel safe, and are free from pressure. Every game on Kishu Play is designed to:

Celebrate every attempt, not just correct answers — mistakes are how we learn!
Use audio, visuals, and interaction together — multi-sensory learning sticks better
Keep sessions short and focused — ideal for 2–5 year old attention spans
Reward curiosity and exploration over speed or competition
Invite grown-ups in — every activity works better when shared with a parent or carer

Safety and Privacy First

Kishu Play is a safe environment for young children. Our games do not require registration, do not collect children's personal data, and do not contain links that take children outside our site from the game areas. We use Google AdSense to display advertisements, which allows us to keep the site completely free. Please see our Privacy Policy for full details.

We also encourage parents to supervise children's use of the internet at all times, including on Kishu Play. No website can be a substitute for parental oversight, and we believe strongly in the importance of involved, attentive caregiving during a child's screen time.

How We're Funded

Kishu Play is supported entirely by the advertising revenue generated through Google AdSense. The ads you see on our pages help us cover hosting costs and continue developing new games and content. We are grateful for every visit and encourage parents to whitelist our site if they use an ad blocker, as ad revenue directly enables us to keep all our games free for everyone.
