Fruit & Food is a vocabulary-building game that introduces toddlers aged 2 to 5 to the names of common fruits, vegetables, and meals. Each food is shown with a vivid emoji-style illustration and named clearly by the audio narrator. Children can tap to hear the name and a fun fact, then take a quiz to test their memory. The game now features 20 fruits (apple, banana, mango, watermelon, kiwi, pear, coconut, guava and more), 16 vegetables (carrot, broccoli, avocado, spinach, garlic, potato, chilli and more), and 16 meals (pizza, burger, rice, curry, waffles, cookies and more).
Food vocabulary is some of the most immediately useful language for young children — they encounter food multiple times every day, making it ideal for reinforcing what they've learned in the game.
Learning the names of foods helps toddlers communicate their preferences, understand mealtimes, and develop an interest in healthy eating. It also provides a natural context for learning colours, shapes, and counting — all at once.
